Basic policy

SeoTools (“the Service”) respects user privacy and strives to protect personal information.

Google API integration

Bulk Search Console URL inspection

The tool connects to your Google account only when you choose to do so and uses these permissions:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly: lists Search Console properties you can access and reads URL indexing inspection results.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file: requested only when you choose Google Sheets export, so the tool can create a new spreadsheet and write the results to it.

Zero Access Page Checker

The tool connects to your Google account only when you choose to do so and uses these permissions:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly: lists GA4 accounts and properties you can access and reads page views by URL for the selected period.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly: lists Search Console properties you can access and reads impressions, clicks, and indexing status by URL.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file: requested only when you choose Google Sheets export, so the tool can create a new spreadsheet and write the results to it.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Sharing, transfer, and disclosure of Google user data

We use information obtained from Google APIs only to inspect the URLs you specify, compare GA4 and GSC data, and perform the export operation you select. Except for requests sent to Google APIs at your direction, we do not share, transfer, disclose, or sell Google user data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Only when you select Google Sheets export do we send and save the retrieved results to a newly created spreadsheet in your own Google Drive. We do not send the data to another user's, the Service operator's, or any other third party's Google Drive.

Protection of Google user data

  • Communications between your browser, the Service, and Google APIs use HTTPS (TLS) to encrypt data in transit.
  • OAuth access tokens, Google API requests, GA4 and GSC results, and CSV or spreadsheet export processing stay in your browser. We do not send OAuth access tokens or retrieved results to our servers, hosting providers, or CDN providers.
  • We do not store OAuth access tokens or retrieved results on our servers, in LocalStorage, or in cookies.
  • We use read-only permissions for GA4 and Search Console and a Google Drive permission limited to files created by this tool.
  • Spreadsheets are protected by your Google Account and the sharing permissions you manage in Google Drive.

Our server only fetches and parses public sitemaps and does not retain their contents.

Retention and deletion of Google user data

OAuth access tokens and results retrieved from Google APIs are retained temporarily only in the memory of the tab in which you use the tool. They are discarded from browser memory when you select Disconnect Google, reload the page, or close the tab. We do not retain Google user data on our servers, so there is no server-side Google user data for us to delete.

A Google spreadsheet created by the tool remains in your Google Drive until you delete it. Revoking the Google Account connection does not automatically delete spreadsheets that have already been created. You must delete an unwanted spreadsheet from your own Google Drive. You can revoke the Service's access at any time from your Google Account connections page.

Information you enter

Data you enter or generate in each tool (passwords, hashes, URLs, text, etc.) is not stored on our servers.

  • For tools that run entirely in the browser (e.g. password generator, Bcrypt hash), input and output stay in the browser and are not sent to us.
  • For tools that require server processing (e.g. DNS lookup, redirect check), we process the URL or domain you submit temporarily and do not save it in an application database or file.
  • We do not save your inputs in browser LocalStorage or cookies.

Hosting providers, CDNs, and reverse proxies may temporarily generate standard access logs containing information such as IP address, date and time, request URL, and User-Agent for security and troubleshooting.

IP address checker

The “IP address checker” returns your connection IP, X-Forwarded-For, User-Agent, and related values to your browser only after you consent, for self-verification purposes.

  • Our application does not persist these values in databases, files, or operational logs.
  • Hosting providers, CDNs, and reverse proxies may still create standard access logs on the infrastructure side.
  • This is separate from sitewide Google Analytics (GA4); see “Analytics” below.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand usage and improve the Service. GA4 uses cookies to collect information such as pages viewed, browser environment, and access times. We do not send names, email addresses, or similar information to Google Analytics.
